Teaser

My mum was here to visit this past week. It was so nice to see her, and watch her and my daughter forge a bond. There's something about grandparents - watching them love up your kids and love them so, makes you feel like you're doing something right.

Over the weekend, this little family + Mum decided to run away to Jasper for a night. All of it was new for Ember and we delighted in watching her take it all in.

For instance, Ember ate snow for the first time on this trip. It was on her own accord, and I'm not sure if she could have chosen a better vintage: Blanc neige, Lac Beauvert at Jasper Park Lodge, 2011. Superb.
